With the MyVisualField Test App, patients can share the results of their tests with their family practitioner with just one click, alongside other important data such as a printable graphic image of the visual field and the duration of the tests themselves.
MyVisualField Test is useful for screening purposes for doctors and other practitioners working in this field. It can also be usefully integrated into an eye test for normal subjects, to show whether there are visual field defects in an asymptomatic condition, for example in cases of functional damage or unrecognized glaucoma.
It can also be used to assess damage to sight in a neurological patient after ischemia or to assess to what extent the optical pathways have been compromised, for example in the case of hypophysis adenoma.
